Taya Mikado (she/her) is a mixed-race Yonsei hailing from Southern Alberta and currently anchored in Toronto. After finding comfort and community through events hosted by the NAJC, she joined the Next Generation – Youth Council to help others experience that same sense of belonging. Outside of her work as a junior lawyer in estates and family law, Taya enjoys exploring new restaurants and playing sports.
