Mari Galloway

Mari Galloway is a mixed race Japanese Canadian born in Tokyo and raised in Toronto. She is a litigator and researcher who strongly believes in the law as a tool for social justice. She is passionate about building community and more sustainable futures.

Prior to completing her legal studies at the University of Ottawa she undertook a masters in environmental policy and planning at the Freie Universität in Berlin. Her research focuses on environmental justice issues, climate migration and sustainable urban planning.
