About the Freedom Day Luncheon Postponement

Dear Friends,

We follow up to our earlier notice that the Freedom Day Luncheon has been postponed. 

With the rapidly evolving situation and unknowns as to what measures will be in place once the pandemic begins to recede, we feel it is too early to consider alternate dates. Our approach will be to err on the side of an abundance of caution when we reschedule especially given the number of nisei attendees. 

Thanks to your enthusiasm the event sold out with 150 guests on February 29th and a waiting list was started. We have emailed and phoned all of our guests. Many  of the guests we phoned indicated a wish to wait for the new date to be announced to determine whether to ask for a refund.

We encourage you to practice social distancing to protect the most vulnerable and slow down the spread of the virus.
