Thank you so much for the beautiful memories of my mother-in-law, Midge. Reading your poem again brings joyful tears to my eyes as I remember one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the honour to know. She was very fond of your poetry and brought Obon: The Festival of the Dead to Japan for Patti and I to read while we lived in Kyoto. We share her enthusiasm!
